lookingglasslighthouse

why spoil the moment(s)
they that flicker and scintillate
waves and watercrest
dawn waits patiently
duress and darkling starwashed silver
venus
waiting patiently
shoulders
starwashed
aquamarine and anguished
twilight for a moment
stained glass sepulchral
saffron and stardust
stillness and certainty
straining sagittarius
circling
stealthily
the exhilaration
exhaling
exhausted
clutching dawn’s rosy fingers
water cresting
spilling
betweeeeen
the
nebulous
dry
night
where
venus
lies
emptied
of
light

____

to capture
no, perhaps
to confess
such would stifle

to harbor
to catch the breeze
to escape

we find ourselves
awash
adrift
drowning in colours
far from the storm’s eye
fathomless
depths

to hold on
to let go
light bending
arcing
wavering
letting go
holding out

we find ourselves
in dreams
adrift
drowning in the storm’s eye
indifferent
to the
distorted
cracked
lookingglasslighthouse
looming
against the ghostwhite sky

entropy
inviting
entranced
by
the harbor
and the
breeze
